8. Hearing Aid Repairing Policy

  • Repair services are provided for hearing aids purchased from Dr. Hina Hearing Institute or other sources, subject to inspection.
  • Charges for repairs will be based on the type of fault, parts required, and labor, unless covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Devices under warranty will be repaired free of cost for issues covered by the manufacturer; physical damage, moisture damage, or misuse are excluded.
  • During the repair process, especially for older or damaged devices, there is a risk that the device may become non-functional (“dead”) due to underlying issues — the Institute will not be liable for such occurrences.
  • Turnaround time for repairs will vary based on the complexity of the issue and availability of parts; customers will be informed of the estimated time in advance.
  • All repaired devices will be tested and returned with a service note specifying the work done.
